Europcar offering Leaf in London and Paris
|
 Nissan and Europcar have announced that the all electric Nissan Leaf is to be made available in two of the largest cities in the world, Paris and London. The Nissan Leaf is the World Car of the Year 2011, obviously the first electric vehicle to receive this distinction. Nissan Vice President Sales Operations Guillaume Cartier spoke of the Leaf being an ideal vehicle for city use because of the twin benefits of zero emissions and driving pleasure. He also said it provided an ideal opportunity for potential electric car users to test a type of transmission about which they may have concerns.
